Hello Team USA Mixed Relay athletes,
World Triathlon requires a registration fee for the 2024 Mixed Relay World Championships. Unlike the individual events which are managed by RaceRoster World Triathlon requires that all National Federations (including USAT) register their Mixed Relay teams on behalf of the athletes.
All athletes who have previously paid a spot fee for the Mixed Relay will be required to complete their race registration here by 9/15/2024.
Registration Process is as follows:
1. Qualified athletes must register for the Mixed
Relay with USA Triathlon by 9/15/2024 – (note: Mixed Relay has a longer
deadline than the individual races). This will allow us to determine who is confirmed
to race, how many teams we can field, and if we can add any additional athletes to ensure more teams can be registered.
2. Athletes wishing to join a Mixed Relay team on an emergency basis must add themselves to the Emergency Reserves list on this registration page. If multiple athletes would like to fill in for a spot on a Mixed Relay team the following criteria will be used for selection.
- 2023 U.S Nationals non-draft Sprint Triathlon (Milwaukee) – 1st– 10th
- 2024 U.S Nationals non-draft Sprint Triathlon (Atlantic City) – 1st– 10th
- 2023 U.S Nationals non-draft Olympic Triathlon (Milwaukee) – 1st – 10th
- 2024 U.S Nationals non-draft Olympic Triathlon (Atlantic City) – 1st – 10th
3. Once the final number of teams is established, we will work to finalize the preliminary team compositions based on qualifying criteria for an early October release date. The deadline for final team composition submissions to World Triathlon is October 19th at 3:00 PM local time.
